I’m a 51 year old fun mother to 3 grown up sons. I’m a huge animal lover and have 3 dogs. I suffered with phobias from the age of 5 and throughout my life I faced and overcame very hard times. I discovered mindfulness and trained as a teacher. I understand fear, anxiety and depression very well and fortunately now I have the skills to help myself and others.
Hello, I'm Iva and I'm currently studying psychology on local university (finishing 3rd year for bachelor, 2 more for masters degree). Besides psychology I'm interested in basically any other field of life that shapes us as human beings as we are and how we operate as a society. For example, I'm interested in nutritionism as food also can have impact on our mental health, as well as physical; art, because it offers a unique way to express ourselves and connect us to other people; politics and economy, because it shapes our way of life etc. Regarding my personal experience with mental illness, I've sucessfully recovered from a mental breakdown a year ago that got me at the lowest point in my life, and helped me understand how many symptoms of mental illnesses actually feel and manifest in various ways in everyday life and how to manage them and the inner and outer enviroment that led me to them. Also, some of my dearest people struggle with BPD, anxiety and depression so i'm constantly searching for a best way to help them.
