Hi, I'm Vicky and I have anxiety. I was diagnosed when i was sixteen in the summer of 2014, just after I left school. I have since gone through two counsellings, and I'm on my fourth therapy. I am also on medication to help my anxiety since December 2018. I enjoy kick boxing as it helps me to relieve any stress and it's a sport I enjoy. I also have an Instagram account bumps_along_the_road and a youtube channel Bumps AlongTheRoad where I vlog my days and talk about mentsl health and share my journey. I also share my scoliosis journey. I was diagnosed last year on the 20th of May. Since then it has been life changing. I've had to adapt my life around the pain and certain things that I now have limits for e.g. lifting heavy objects. I am currently under the spinal team at my local hospital.
Things I love:
- Hanging out with my friends
- Helping people
M goal in life is to be able to help others. With my knowledge and experience from what I have been through, I'm hoping I can use it to help others turn their lives around, or change it for the better.
If someone is there to listen, it can make a huge difference.
